Sun, 25 June 2006 I have been secretly envying the Nokia 770 ever since it came out. Now I am choosing to sell my iPaq, a hx2495, and I am feeling somewhat conflicted about purchasing a 770. First off, the closest place that has them is CompUSA and even then they have limited quantities. After I get it, there would be considerable hacking to get it to where I need it. Maybe I should just do it. I feel like I should support Open Source software, yet with CompUSA having the 770 only at one store (and sold out online) is there something better coming from Nokia or are the abandoning the platform? The 770 sounds like it has promise, but it does have some issues like the choice they made to support RS-MMC/Mobile MMC, the slower processor and no USB hosting ability(well without hacking anyway). Anyway, Linc, if your reading this, convince me on what I need to do! :D Category: New Gadget -- posted at: 1:35 PM Comments[0] |
